INFOPARK - The Association of Belarusian IT Developers

The Association of Belarusian IT Developers INFOPARK was created in the year 2001.

According to the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus (# 234, May 3, 2001), it was the first significant step of the Belarusian State on the way to improve the organizational, economic, and social conditions for developing and export of modern information technologies.

The Association can grant membership to juridical persons, including enterprises with foreign investments and foreign juridical persons specializing in development of information technologies.

Up to date INFOPARK unites 57 Belarusian and joint software development companies and enterprises and about 9 000 SE professionals (70 % of all national IT specialists).

Among members of INFOPARK is absolute majority of the recognized IT industry leaders of Belarus: EPAm Systems, IBA (International Business Alliance), BelHard Group, ScienceSoft and others.

According to expert estimates (Gartner\Market-Visio Consulting), the Belarus’ export-oriented programming market will reach the level of 200 million USD by the end of the year 2006.

The average annual growth of the Belarusian export-oriented programming market since 2003 reaches 20-30 %.
